今回のハーブティは、 CELESTIALの”シナモンアップルスパイス”を使っています。

* 豆乳 200cc

* 種をとったデーツ (細かく刻む) 100g

* ハーブティー ティーバッグ1袋 (シナモン入りがおすすめ)

* 熟れたバナナ 小1本 (約65g)

* 重曹 小1/2

* 塩 ひとつまみ

* クルミ 30g (刻む)

The cake is sugar-free but full of sweet scents thanks to the bananas, dates and cinnamon of the herbal tea. You may not believe there is no sugar in it.

I used CELESTIAL's “Cinnamon Apple Spice herbal tea”.

It's not organic, but it's a very natural ingredient, a lovely, very sweet smelling combination, very soothing to drink or to put in a cake.

If you are using black tea bags instead of herbal tea, add a teaspoon of cinnamon.

It can be made with other herbal teas, but if the ingredients are large or hard, they are not suitable for inclusion in the cake, so take off the tea bags after soaking in soy milk. (After soaking, you can tear the tea bag to make sure if it is ready to use or not.)

If you plan to put the contents of the tea bag into the cake from the beginning, you may tear the tea bag and add the ingredients when soaking in soy milk.

If you are using regular tea leaves instead of tea bags, grind the tea leaves into small pieces before use.

In this case, use about 5g.

Ingredients(8*18*6cm cake mold)

* 200cc soy milk

* 100g seeds removed dates (chopped)

* 1 herbal tea bag (With cinnamon is recommended)

* 1 small ripe banana (65g)

* 60cc vegetable oil

* 130g cake flour

* 1/2 tsp baking soda

* A pinch salt

* 30g walnut chopped

1. Preheat the oven to 180C. Line the tin with parchment paper.

2. Warm the soy milk and soak the dates and tea bag for about 5 minutes.

3. Add the banana in a bowl and mash.

4. Add oil and soy mixture and mix well until emulsified.

5. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda above the bowl and add the walnuts, mix roughly.

6. Pour the batter into the tin and bake for 45 minutes on 180C.

7. Let cool down well and slice.
